I DJUIZEU WANSI Galister second of the 7th edition of HOPE BAMBOUTOS (2023) session

Born in Mbouda in a francophone family and do study in the anglophone subsystem of education. I did my primary school at GBPPS Mbouda without any reason for schooling just because my parents said I should go to school and others were going. So, I didn't have much interest in school. With time my parents encouraged me to work hard to get good grades, so I did without much interest.

In 2016 I succeeded in getting to one the the most famous secondary schools in the town at my time, Lycée Bilingue de Mbouda (GBHS Mbouda). It's during this period of my studies, with the award ceremony that was organized in the school every year to reward the best students of every class, that I got interest in school and studies. so that is how I started working hard by my own to be one of the awarded. 

I finally obtain my GCE Advance level in 2023 after obtaining the GCE Ordinary level in 2021 with 24 points and 27 points respectively.

That same year, 2023, I participate to HOPE BAMBOUTOS Scholarship and end up second. I tried Polytechnic Yaounde, medicine Buea and Polytechnic Buea concours with I all failed. I finally did Bioscience at the university of Yaounde.

In 2024 I postulated and obtain a 3 years scholarship to study “Dental prosthesis" in Tunisia.

I thank professor Martial Longla for organizing the HOPE BAMBOUTOS that is helping me in my studies, I also thank all those who contributed in anyway in it well-being and promotion.
