Subject areas for the competitions

The level of problems that are given to students is that of "Tle C and D" relatively more complex than the regular class problems. Problems are related to issues that the student can find around him and that can be solved using notions from mathematics. This subject is graded with weight 5.

The level of problems that are given to students is that of "Tle C and D" relatively more complex than the regular class problems. Problems are related to issues that the student can find around him and that can be solved using notions from physics. This subject is graded with weight 3.

 The level of problems that are given to students is that of "Tle C and D" relatively more complex than the regular class problems. Problems are related to issues that the student can find around him and that can be solved using notions from chemistry. This subject is graded with weight 2. 

 The level of problems that are given to students is that of "Tle C and D" relatively more complex than the regular class problems. Problems are related to issues that the student can find around him and that can be solved using notions from mathematics, chemistry and physics. This paper is graded with weight 1. It is solely used to determine the winner of the Tchetezo prize of 100,000frs CFA. 

Finalists are obtained from schools on the basis of their class performances on the three subjects: Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry. We request 3 candidates per school, 6 candidates if the school is bilingual (3 from the french system, 3 from the English system). People that are not selected by their schools have the option to submit their applications directly to us and be considered for selection.

Depending on the budget, we give prizes for first places on the subjects, then select winners of the competition based on the overall grade. These winners receive yearly scholarships of 75,000frscfa to 150,000frs cfa to support their education after graduation for a period of 3 years. During this period, we request conselling and follow up of the students, providing advice when necessary. The Tchetezo price is a one time payment to the winner.
